This device is working exactly as I expected. It's extremely accurate for being such a small device.
Since we purchased the RAD-0302 our CO2 in the office originally was ~2000ppm. After using the device and ventilating our space we are at 900ppm. Much better! Thanks CO2Meter.
We have two adult daughters who do not live with us and are at increased risk from Covid-19. We always open windows and try not to sit too close together and wear masks sometimes when they visit us. We bought the IAQ Mini CO2 monitor to learn if our efforts were having the desired effect in terms of air circulation. Turns out we're doing great; in fact, we don't need to open quite as many windows. The monitor is very easy to use. We especially like the color coded screen that lets us know right away, even from across a room, if we're getting into riskier territory. This is no guarantee, of course, but it's very helpful to let us see if air is circulating well in the room, which is an important factor in preventing Covid spread.
Pro: Reasonably priced given CO2 sensors seem fairly costly. Responsive. Temp/RH seem fairy accurate as well and it is nice having them on the screen.
Pro: Graph is nice, I wish they did it as 24 smaller bars so I could see the effects of exercising for any hour historically vs the -3, -6, -12, -18, -24 which quickly hide an hours worth of high CO2 values, but good enough for broad trending.
Con: Screen viewing angle is terrible vertically, can't have it up on a shelf because you can't see it. Can still see the colors but that is very broad data vs the actual numbers and graph.
Minor Nit: History data is all lost if you unplug it. It is a tiny amount of data and seems like it would be super cheap to add the tiny bit of persistent memory to keep it around.
This unit help me see, that my co2 level at my desk at home was too hi. And my humidity was too low at 11%.
Low humidity makes a house feel cooler. Cooking in oven on a gas stove makes a lot of CO2. Now I can control it.
