The Portable CO2 Sampling Sensor is designed to measure carbon dioxide in inaccessible areas. Use it for:
Inside the Sampling Sensor is a battery-operated micro-pump connected to two tubing ports on the side of the unit. When the unit is turned on, the pump draws gas from one tube port and expels it from the other. By connecting tubing to the inlet, you can remotely sample gas. By connecting tubing to both ports, you can create a closed-loop system and return the gas back to the original container. This makes the Sampling Sensor perfect for measuring potentially dangerous high concentrations of CO2 in biological applications.
NOTE: Because of the wide variety of configurations, we do not carry every Sampling Sensor in inventory. Please allow 10-14 days for delivery
In leak detect mode a beeper sounds and the display flashes when concentrations over a programmable level are sensed. the default is 2,000ppm for the 1% model and 2% for the 30% model. Both settings can be changed in the software.
The battery-operated, portable Sampling Sensor comes in two models: the K30 (10,000ppm/1% CO2) and the K33 ICB (30% CO2). Both models include a data cable for optional tethered data logging. A backlit LCD that changes color according to CO2 levels in PPM is also optional.
Free Software with Source Code
The free software lets you record data, graph it or save it as a .CSV file that easily imports into a spreadsheet. It also lets you change default settings on the unit. the Software is written in Visual Basic’s .NET framework, and includes all source code so that you can create custom applications to interface with the sensor.
