Demand Flow Regulator for Calibration

This two-state Demand Flow Regulator is a very useful tool for calibration purposes when you are using the Sensor Pump Kit or any of our Sampling units. This Regulator comes with an adapter for 221 liter cylinders (CGA 165)

The negative pressure drawn by the pump actuates the diaphragm based mechanism which releases preset (0-3 l/m)) flow as the instrument to be calibrated requires. This saves calibration gas since the gas flows only as pulled by the pump.

A pressure regulating valve device positioned within the interior of the housing regulates the pressure of the calibrated gas entering the interior of the housing through the inlet and a demand flow valve device delivers calibration gas to the outlet of the housing upon demand by the pump in the device.

This makes the regulator simple to use. Screw the regulator onto the cylinder and slide the tubing onto the barbed fitting. With no valves to operate, simply start the pump on the meter and the regulator does the rest.
