With long battery life and large buttons for ease of use with gloves, the dSense portable carbon monoxide meter works perfectly as a personal safety alarm unit in hazardous environments, or wherever carbon monoxide is produced, stored, generated and used.

The large LCD readout gives a quick overview of the current CO level and the 80 dB audible alarm calls for prompt attention when the short-term exposure safety limit is exceeded.

The meter uses a high-accuracy electrochemical cell for detection and is easily calibrated at both 0ppm and 500ppm points with reference gas.

    peace of mind

Replaced a meter that we had which disappeared one day. Gives me peace of mind with an external house generator which sent CO into our basement once.

    Handy

it works very well i get a consistent reading of 8 to 10 at work but it seems to sky rocket upwards (160, 184) when i quickly move it to a new spot spot then goes to 0 and stays or when outside a heavy breeze passes by don’t know if it’s actually co in a windstream or just a quick current of different temperature air

"Easy to install, easy to set up, and easy calibration - just what I was looking for."
