CO2Meter has joined the Florida Brewer’s Guild as an Allied Trade Member. The FBG is a non-profit trade association committed to preserving the rights and interests of all craft brewers throughout the state.
Founded nearly two decades ago by local Tampa brewers, the Florida Brewers Guild was built on the ideas of uniting an industry for advocacy and sharing of best practices in an effort to elevate brewing across the state.
Today, the mission of the FBG is to educate the public about the brewing industry in Florida; promote networking and educational opportunities between brewers, consumers, suppliers, and government regulatory agencies; and continually promote free market access of the Florida brewing industry to the public.
“We’re proud of our association with brewers across the country,” said Josh Pringle, Vice President of Business Development at CO2Meter, Inc. “But as Florida residents and craft beer lovers, we’re especially delighted to be involved with this outstanding organization.”
As part of their mission, the Florida Brewers Guild advocates and engages in the legislative process with provide a singular, unified voice that represents all members of the Florida craft beer industry. For example, the FBG fought for “the Growler bill,” which simplified the rules for small breweries to brew beer and to sell both single servings and 64oz. growlers for take-home to patrons.
