2016 RFMA Annual Conference Recap

The 2016 Restaurant Facility Management Association (RFMA) Annual Conference was three action-packed days of speakers, seminars, networking and vendor introductions. The RFMA Conference is a yearly opportunity to advance industry awareness of restaurant facility management.

The conference was held at the gorgeous Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, Tennessee. This was the first time CO2Meter had participated, and we’re glad we did. It was the perfect opportunity to increase industry awareness concerning CO2 safety monitoring for restaurant employees and customers.

At this event we had the opportunity to meet and discuss the features and benefits of our Remote CO2 Storage Safety Alarms for monitoring compressed carbon dioxide systems.

Josh Pringle, VP of Business and Marketing and I were able to provide information about current CO2 monitoring codes and regulation changes occurring across the country. 

The subject of inspections now being carried out in numerous states was a hot topic at several round table discussions, generating a sense of urgency that lead attendees to our booth.

RFMA meeting

With every demonstration of the RAD-0102, our enthusiasm grew. It was motivating to be able to engage with so many industry professionals. I’m confident the relationships we developed will be mutually beneficial in the future.

Next year the conference is being held in central Florida. To all the new friends we made at RFMA – see you then!
