The eSense LEED Fresh Air Indicator (FAI) is a simple, low-cost and maintenance-free carbon dioxide alarm designed to be installed in areas like office buildings or classrooms where the carbon dioxide levels need to be monitored for indoor air quality. An audible alarm and flashing light indicate when recommended indoor carbon dioxide levels are exceeded.
Adequate ventilation has been shown to increase productivity and ability to learn according to several documented studies. Proper ventilation can also reduce the risk of airborne sickness such as the H1N1 flu virus, which is too small to be trapped by air filtration systems.
