The Unit is designed for both permanent and temporary installations in industrial settings. It features a built-in pump for sampling,data logging memory, relay and 4-20 ma output for level control and one of CO2Meter's high-accuracy NDIR sensors.
In addition to data logging capability, this unit features a M12 (12-Pin) connector for RS-485, 4-20mA loop output, a Relay 1A 30V and connection to a 24VDC power supply. These inputs and outputs allow for easy interfacing with existing PLC and process controllers, as well as enables long-range PC connectivity and integration with MODBUS capable data networks. This makes this Unit perfect for permanent installation. The rated NEMA4 enclosure makes it suitable for wall-mounted industrial applications
Inside the unit is a micro-pump connected to two tubing ports on the side of the unit. When the unit is turned on, the pump draws gas from one tube port and expels it from the other. By connecting tubing to the inlet, you can remotely sample gas. By connecting tubing to both ports, you can create a closed-loop system and return the gas back to the original container. This makes the Sampling Sensor perfect for measuring potentially dangerous high concentrations of CO2 in biological applications and for small volume head space measurements.
In leak detect mode a beeper sounds and the display flashes when concentrations over a programmable level are sensed. The alarm limit can be changed in the software.
