CO2 Sensors for Shanghai's New Airport

Shanghai Airport

SenseAir, makers of the K-series line of CO2 sensors distributed by CO2Meter.com, has supplied sensors for another big airport, newly-built Hongqiao airport in Shanghai. So far more than 400 carbon dioxide sensors have been installed in HVAC-systems on the site.

Hongqiao airport, which came into use recently, was planned to be ready for the Shanghai World Expo, the world trade fair for 2010. Included in the HVAC (Heating, ventilation, air-conditioning) systems are carbon dioxide sensors for ventilation control.

Hongqiao airport will serve as a template for about 100 airports which are being planned for construction in the near future in China. SenseAir CO2 sensors are also installed in many other international airports including Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Műnchen.
