CO2Meter made a video-conference presentation to the Virginia Energy Purchasing Governmental Association (VEPGA) recently.
VEPGA offers a unique opportunity for local governments to negotiate their energy rates as a group, resulting in millions of dollars in annual savings for Virginia local governments and their taxpayers. Members of this group include local, state and county officials ranging from City and Facilities Managers to Environmental Efficiency Experts for School Districts.
Ray and Josh spoke about CO2 sensing, and how it could be used to monitor IAQ and cut energy costs. Sales talk was kept out of the conversation. Instead, the focus was on how CO2 monitoring can assist governmental and non-governmental organizations achieve greater cost savings, increase workplace productivity, and create healthier working and learning environments.
The members were excited to learn that CO2Meter's technology has been able to save other governments and school districts millions of dollars over the years, and how VEPGA could realize these savings for the state of Virginia.
